I hope this message brings you encouragement.
I felt a strong prompting in my spirit to express our profound gratitude for the incredible generosity and support you have shown us. The way you have welcomed us, as missionaries and servants of God, has been an immeasurable blessing in our lives. Your partnership and encouragement have been fundamental for us to move forward, trusting that the Lord God will provide for all our needs.
The love with which you received us clearly reflects the heart of Christ in you, and we are eternally grateful to God for this precious partnership and alliance in the Kingdom of God that we have with you.
Recently, upon sending this photo of us, I received a message from a dear pastor who called us "true unsung heroes." These words, which I feel were anointed by God, brought immense comfort and renewed our strength, reminding us of how much the Lord has cared for us throughout our journey.

This reflection led me to meditate on our walk of faith and service to God. My wife, Vilma Brito, and I have served the Lord for over 35 years, bringing His Word to places where His name is little known, many of them filled with challenges and dangers. We have faced hostilities and difficulties that only the Lord could enable us to endure—from spiritual battles just to obtain visas to enter countries, to our very survival in precarious conditions. We've encountered criminals, been robbed, and slandered countless times. But perhaps the most painful sacrifice has been the distance from our children and family, a cross we bear for the love of the mission the Lord has entrusted to us.
In many moments, our lives were at risk, but in each of them, we felt the Mighty Hand of God guiding and protecting us.
Even in the midst of the hardest trials, we have never ceased to trust in God's provision and care for our lives.
Now, at over 65 years old and with my health weakened, we continue to persevere in the mission the Lord has placed in our hearts. In April 2024, I suffered a heart attack, but the Lord, in His infinite mercy, sustained me and gave me a new opportunity to continue His work.
Today, we face a new challenge: the construction of a Mission Center in Goiânia, a project we are trusting and fully placing in the hands of our Heavenly Father.
Over these years, we have never had a fixed salary or material promises, but we trust fully in the God who provides.
We live by faith, sustained by the generosity of those who, moved by the Holy Spirit, have supported us.
And even when provision does not arrive as we had hoped, our hearts remain full of joy, because serving God is the greatest privilege we can have.
I ask that you continue praying for us and for this missionary work.
May the Lord, in His infinite grace, continue to bless your lives and your family. May we continue advancing together for the glory of the Kingdom of God.
With much Gratitude and Love in Christ,
